I feel that Eric is an especially gifted writer of this particular genre. He takes time to set the plot in motion and typically has an unexpected twist at the end. That said, I enjoyed the multiple transformations in this story, especially since they caused the transformed to live the life completely opposite of their own. However, I would have preferred that the transformed girls retained their male personalities and had to struggle more in their new bodies and lives. I am a big fan of trans-racial and age regression changes, so that is the main reason I am scoring this so high.
General unhappy wives turn their husbands into various different kinds of women, from a goth girl to highschool cheerleader, with the help of a witch. There's little to no explanation as to why these men's wives are acquainted with a witch to begin with but what would expect in a story like this? Anyway the women's explanation as to why they turned their husbands into girls is completely insane. Rather than actually talk like rational adults they instead use cruel and bizarre methods to somehow better their betterhalves (Pun not intended).
None of the characters are likeable nor do they even act like human beings. The wives expect their marriages to improve after torturing and humiliating their husbands and are confused as to why their plan backfires at the end. Guess forcing them to become girls and do sexual acts, go completely against their beliefs, and in general shamed would prove to be a bad idea. What a shocker.
The story also ends rather abruptly and was I guess, supposed to be a happy one? All the couples save one are torn apart and with good reason but the end tries to make this a possitive. 3 stars because there was potential for an interesting story, but like most other works by this author, it is never really realized and focuses too much on humiliating and degrading men.
