Three parts. Two points of views.
Never one to care what others think, seventeen-year-old, Mt. Henry High School student, Skylar James, is content with it that way. That is until she's assigned her history partner, rich-boy Kane.
Being invisible at Rushton High School, is just how seventeen-year old Alexandra Harmony likes it. That is until she's asked to tutor bad-boy Tristan.
What does it take to make opposite yet parallel lives collide?

This story was ... weird. On the one hand you had Skylar, who if I'm being honest, I did not like. I have read way too many YA with the goth girl hooking up with the preppy guy. I didn't care for her mother either. I honestly can't deal with a parent who acts more like a teen and gives them little to no supervision. On the other hand, in part two, you have Alexandra, who I did like, and I liked her relationship with Tristan, though all of his flirting with other girls, frankly, drove me nuts. Her dad was more the typical dad and very likeable. The fact the story was told in three parts made it much easier to understand. At some point, during part two, I figured out what was going to happen. I kept reading because ... well ... I wanted to see when the couples got together, even though it was a foregone conclusion they would.
I'm not too fond of all the self-impalement from either girl. I guess some of that was needed, but it got a little old after a while. I appreciate the lack of sexual content. Story was reasonably clean, though there was cursing sprinkled throughout.
The story is centered in the UK, so had British lingo. That didn't bother me at all. Overall, I enjoyed it. Though I think part of that is because I hated the last two YA I read. It did have a happy ending with everything tied up in a neat package, but still, weird concept in writing which will have me questioning it for a long time.
I'm rounding my review stars up to a 4, though it was probably more 3.8. I'm straddling the fence on recommendation.

Senseless Attraction eBook Lila Rose Reviews
I enjoyed reading this story about young love. I think it relates to most young people that think because someone is from a different backgrounds than them having a relationship with them is impossible but that's not true. I think if both parties have feelings for each other they should at least try see what will come out of it. I definitely recommend this book.
This novel is broken into 3 parts. When I finished Part 1 in tears I was so tempted to jump to Part 3 to continue Skylar’s story but I trusting in the magic of Lila Rose’s writing I knew that would ruin the story so I dove into Part 2.
Part 1 and Part 2 are 2 individual stories while Part 3 continues the storyline from Part 1 & 2. A really great YA novel.
Love it. It was cute, funny and touching. Really enjoy it.
There was just one tiny thing that bothers me. In book there was a short conversation in Spanish. The thing is, it wasn't well translated, at least 2 sentences. I'm not saying this to bother anyone, is just an observation. I really did love the book. I found that it teaches us to take a chance to know people better before making conclusion.
As per usual I'm late to the party! Lila Rose is one of my favorite authors and yet it took me this long to read this masterpiece! I should be ashamed of myself! I loved this so much I couldn't stop reading once I stated, Senseless Attraction was a beautiful story and I 100% recommend it
The story started off good, then stopped halfway through. And another story started up,then stopped at the half way point. Then the two stories intermingled. It kinda left me confused and I forgot the first story by the time the second one stopped halfway through.
I will start by saying I LOVE everything I have read by Lila Rose. She has a way of sucking me into a story that is amazing. She is also great at writing multiple POV books. This can be a challenge and she does it well. The voice of the character is obvious, you don't have to go back to the beginning of the chapter and ask yourself who is talking now. I loved tough Sky, who is as a hard nut to crack. Love the barriers that are broken down in her story. I also love the dorky always apologizing Alex. She is just so... As I read I kind of got pissed off when the story up and stopped and started a whole new one. Then I found out why, Lila, only you can link a story together this way. I loved it! It is a story of young love, social and economic barriers. It is also a story of never giving up. Thanks again Lila. Please write me another story soon.
I liked the stories but I didn’t like the three part of it with different characters and a cliffhanger ending for each of them. The two stories were too similar. A popular guy with bully friends and an unpopular girl are thrown together to study by the teacher and then get to know each other and like each other and then the parent gets in an accident. Then the third part happens in the hospital. It kind of didn’t make sense for me to tell two stories so similar and then connect it in the end with something trivial like parents dating.
